I’ve been a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst for 5 years and have been working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities for 8 years. I have a passion for teaching others about applied behavior analysis (ABA) and helping parents develop the skills utilized in ABA therapy to help promote progress outside of therapy sessions.
I enjoy traveling with my husband, Andy, cuddling with my dog, Shawmut, and reading. I’m a huge Harry Potter nerd, craft beer enthusiast, and always appreciate a new candle to burn. My favorite season is Winter but I won’t turn down a round of golf in the warmer months.
I’ve debated for a while whether I could start (and maintain) a successful blog. As usual, Andy has supported me and pushed me to overcome my doubts. My hope is that I will be able to make a difference for a family struggling to get services or help make it “click” for a family struggling to understand.
